"I was supposed to go down today. It was raining hard so we did not go," Culliver told CUTigers.com Sunday evening.
Clemson's loss was North Carolina State's gain as the prize recruit made the quick trip to Raleigh instead. "I'm at the North Carolina State camp," he said. "I came up for their one day camp instead. I got here around 11 this morning.
"It is going good. There were a lot of interesting things here. I got to go over their depth chart. I also got to work with the coaches individually. I also got to teach some other players."
The Garner High standout plans to reschedule his visit to Clemson, but the timing is not clear.
"I am not sure yet when I will go down to Clemson," stated Culliver. "I am going to try to get to Florida over the summer, but I will definitely take an official visit there. I will also take official visits to North Carolina State, Clemson, Virginia Tech and North Carolina."
When asked where he stands with his commitment to North Carolina State, Culliver responded, "It is still there. I am not going to decommit, but I am going to choose my school. I will do what is best for me.
"Clemson and Florida are the other schools at the top. North Carolina is right there also."
