"After the camp I'm leaning to NC State," Bryant said. "I have them out front. The visit went real good... I like the school a lot.
"I liked how it was designed, and I definitely liked the football team. They have some good players on the team. You really get the feel of a true team being around their players."
Bryant arrived in Raleigh on Sunday and left Monday evening. He was able to tour the campus and check out the Murphy Center, NC State's football complex.
"They had the best facilities I've ever seen," he said. "I've visited a few different colleges, and it's by far the best facility that I've seen."
The Wolfpack coaches also expressed their interest in Bryant, who already owns an offer from NC State. The defensive tackle spoke with head coach Chuck Amato and defensive line coach Todd Stroud, his primary recruiter, about where he would fit in their plans.
"I like coach Stroud a lot," he said. "I can tell that he knows what he's doing and since he coaches the defensive line he would be my main coach if I went there.
"Coach Amato seemed like a nice coach. He seemed like he was very dedicated in getting his type of players up there.
"They both were telling me that they really wanted me to go there."
What was the highlight of Bryant's unofficial visit?
"I think the best thing was meeting with the players the first day I got there," he said. "I got to know some of the players from last year's class. I talked with Jevon... Jevon Walker, the DB from South Dade, some. All the players were real cool."
At 6-2, 270 pounds, with 5.0-second speed in the 40 and a bench press of 355 pounds, Bryant has been a leader on both sides of the line for South Miami. He doubles as an offensive guard and defensive tackle, but admits that he is being recruited to play defensive tackle on the next level.
Bryant has earned offers from South Florida and NC State with interest coming from Memphis, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Kentucky, Alabama and Florida.
Is he closing in on a decision?
"After the trip I'm leaning towards NC State a little bit more, but I think I'm going to wait it out a little," Bryant stated. "My mom also wanted me to wait some. I want to finish my senior season before I decide.
"I will probably be doing it sometime in December or January."
