The 6-0, 305-pound lineman from Tallahassee (Fl.) Lincoln has an impressive offer list and has not begun to significantly narrow things down.
"I'm still looking at Auburn, Alabama, NC State, Louisville, Tennessee, Nebraska, South Florida and Illinois," he said. "Things have changed a little bit, but for the most part I like the same schools I've been looking at."
Each of the eight schools mentioned by Lamb have offered him a scholarship. What does he think of the Pack?
"I haven't visited NC State yet, but I've talked to coaches from their school. They all seem like cool guys and always have a lot of good things to say. I don't know where I'm going to take my visits yet this year, but if I take all my officials I might try to get up there sometime."
Tim has mentioned the possibility of attending the same school as his brother and fellow Lincoln High senior, linebacker Xavier Lamb. Xavier currently holds offers from Illinois and South Florida but has not seen the same level of interest as his brother.
"I'm looking for a lot of things in a school," said Lamb. "First, I want a good education. I think all the schools I'm looking at can offer that. I want to be able to compete to get on the field early. Playing time is going to be important. I want to see how I get along with the coaches as this thing keeps going along."
Lamb is a three-star prospect. His tremendous strength helped him rack up 31 tackles behind the line of scrimmage last year.
