Bryant Commits!

South (FL) Miami lineman Curtis Bryant has reached a decision.

The south Florida standout committed to NC State assistant coach Todd Stroud this evening.

"I've been thinking about them since the beginning," Bryant said. "I wanted to get the okay from my coaches and family. That's where I'm going to go, and I'm sure about it.

"State is recruiting me to play defensive tackle, but I play offensive line too. I like defensive tackle better."

Bryant chose the Wolfpack over offers from Memphis and South Florida. Kentucky, Ohio State, and Central Florida were also under consideration.

Lining up primarily as an offensive guard, Bryant, 6-2, 270 pounds, also spent time at defensive tackle as well as kickoff and punt returns in South Miami's first two games. He is regarded as one of the top linemen in Dade County, and a candidate to earn all-area and all-conference honors.

NC State targeted Bryant early in the process, and he is the Wolfpack's 13th verbal commitment in the 2007 class.
