Farrington Setting Visits

Jameil Farrington is inching closer and closer to having a decision, and the defensive end from Homestead, Fla. is looking deeper into his two favorites.

"Right now, I really can't say who my favorite is because I need to look into a lot of stuff with these schools," Jameil Farrington said. Things like their graduation rate, the way they play their players, how they rotate players. NC State and Auburn are my favorites. I like how NC State rotates their players a lot. Auburn I like how they play defense when I saw their game."

Farrington did not get to watch any games over the weekend while preparing for his first regional game, which was postponed due to lightening, but he did get to watch NC State and Auburn play the weekend before and he is starting to get a little more comfortable with their defenses. He hopes to get a closer look on his official visits, one of which is already set.

"I set up a visit in Dec to NC State, but I need to check with our coach on the date, because me and two of my teammates, Maurice Harris and Joe Nicholas, are going to go up to NC State on a visit together. I'm going to try to get that (commitment) in after the season."

Farrington, a 6-foot-2, 235 pound playmaker, is having a strong season though his stats may not be quite up to where they were last year.

"I've got four sacks, two forced fumbles, and eight tackles. They are mostly going away from me, even though I play strongside. They are rolling out the other side of the field."
