Adewale Ojomo is one of the top defensive end prospects in the state of Florida this year and the Hialeah High standout talked about the latest.

"Everything's going well so far," Ojomo said. "Our team is 2-1 after losing to Central last week. I thought we were the better team but we'll bounce back. That's the worst our defense has ever played since I've been here but I have to give credit to Gordon Warner. He killed us with about 150 yards."

Ojomo, 6-foot-3 and 215 pounds, has 24 tackles, one sack, and one caused fumble on the season.

"I've been getting a lot of tackles but I wanna get more sacks and make a few more big plays," he said. "We play (tonight) against HML."

After tonight's game, Ojomo will begin preparing for a trip to N.C. State on Friday.

"That's gonna be my first visit," he said. "I'm looking forward to it. They've been recruiting me all year and now I get a chance to see what it's like and everything."

The talented defensive end has two other visits set -- Pittsburgh on October 21st and Miami on December 8th.

"The other two will probably be Auburn and either Ole Miss, Georgia, or Tennessee," he said. "They've all been calling lately."

Ojomo says the three schools he has visits scheduled to make up his current leaderboard.

"They're all about even right now," he said. "I'll take my visits, check out the schools, and determine what is the best fit for me."
