Web Run: Evans-Dunlap will go down in history

You could have cut the emotion with a sharp switchblade. With 8.5 seconds left in Saturday night's N.C. State-Boston College game, John Dunlap bolted from the line of scrimmage at the Boston College 34 yard line, his eyes glued to the end zone and his mind on a dream.

As a 6-2 junior receiver for N.C. N.C. State went with a legacy to quarterback it into a new season Saturday night, and the legend came through. Daniel Evans, the son of schoolboy hero Johnny Evans, directed the Wolfpack to a 17-15 upset of 20th-ranked Boston College.
