New Hanover's George Bryan alters defenses with his presence

On Friday nights, George Bryan maneuvers through high school football defenses. On Saturdays, he often faces game-day traffic attending N.C. State games within driving distance. Either way, at 6-foot-6, 264 pounds, Bryan is easy to spot. Bryan, a senior tight end for New Hanover who has verbally committed to N.C. State, is the focal point of the Wildcats' offense. And opposing defenses. "He is someone we have to deal with,'' said Ashley coach Dylan Dimock, whose Screaming Eagles host New Hanover tonight.
