"Coach Towe has watched him play, and Julius and I went to the N.C. State campus. He was really impressed with Coach Lowe. Monte Towe won a national title at N.C. State and Sidney Lowe is a head coach who was a point guard and won a national championship. Julius thought it was the right fit." - Marion High coach Joe Luce on Julius Mays decision to attend NC State
