CB Dominique Ellis...5-11, 185 pounds, 4.6-seconds in the 40...East Wake HS, Wendell, NC

Notes...Ellis committed to NC State this past July over offers from South Carolina, East Carolina and UNC. He has been solid for the Pack all year and is one of North Carolina's top cornerbacks.

WR Jay Smith...6-4, 200 pounds, 4.45-seconds in the 40...Lake Taylor HS, Hampton, Va.

Notes...Smith has camped at State since he was 12 and listed the Pack as his big leader early. He has picked up offers from all over and has a top three of Miami, State and Virginia Tech. Although he is scheduled to make an official visit this weekend, there is no guarantee he will show up and Pack Pride likely won't know until Saturday whether he came.

DE Drew Hudgins...6-5, 240 pounds, 4.8-seconds in the 40...Highlands (Ka) Community College

Notes...Hudgins has had an absolute monster season in 2006. He's tallied 72 tackles, 13 tackles for loss and 14 sacks in 2006, including a six-sack performance in one game this year. Hudgins was a preseason all-american pick. Hudgins hasn't been offered by the Pack yet but could this weekend.

S Jordan Delegal...6-1, 200 pounds, 4.5-seconds in the 40...Chaminade HS, Hollywood, Fla

Notes...Delegal committed in 2006 after a super senior season where he helped lead Chaminade to a state title. Has great size and speed along with impressive coverage instincts. Delegal should be able to join NC State sometime in January.

CB Darin Baldwin...6-0, 170 pounds, 4.5-seconds in the 40...S Dade HS, Homestead, Fla

Notes...The Pack has been recruiting Baldwin for nearly two years. He didn't qualify as a high school senior and has spent 2006 working on his academics. Baldwin has fluctuated between NC State and Florida on numerous occasions so it's basically impossible to get a feel for where he might be leaning. He is friends with Delegal and State has probably been more relentless in their loyalty than any other school.
