Locker Room Report: Wolfpack Players

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Wolfpack players met with the media following the 74-67 win over Michigan.

Bryan Nieman

"There's no pressure... I'm out there with my teammates and they make it real easy for me."

"When a player like Engin Atsur goes down, you can definitely take a hit, but we couldn't stop the game because of that. We had to keep playing... finish out the game."

"I came here to be a part of a historic program... I was just ecstatic to be a part of the team."

Brandon Costner

"We knew there wasn't a time to make excuses... we just had to buckle down and play some D."

"We hadn't played zone all year so we threw a little curveball at them."

"The ball was in our court the whole time."

Gavin Grant

"I knew that we had to just keep fighting."

"We know that they really weren't a great 3-point shooting team so we tried to play zone. The zone was working."

"Brandon and Ben did a helluva job inside... finishing big layups."

"I told you guys we're a young team. It's going to take a while for us to mature, and I think we took steps in maturing today."

Ben McCauley

"It shows great character. We all want to win."

"We all have the right mindset."

"I congratulate all my teammates for stepping up."

"We've got guys that hardly played last year and look at them now."
