    DaJuan Morgan

"I'm pretty excited... things that he did at Boston College he can contribute and bring here to this university. We're looking forward to him getting us on the right track and winning football games around here."

"In talking with Lee Fowler, he told us not to listen to the papers or news."

"My first reaction was I was glad we'd got it over with... I was pretty excited just knowing that it was Tom O'Brien and the system he had at Boston College... hopefully we can continue the winning."

    Daniel Evans

"I definitely appreciate coach Amato and everything he did here at NC State."

"Even if we would have been Orange Bowl champs and thrown for 300 yards every game, I'd still have to go into the offseason and prepare like I had to win the job again. I'm not going to do anything differently."

"Whatever he did at Boston College worked... we just have to wait and see what transpires."

"I still haven't met him yet, but from what his teams have been able to do... 9-win seasons, I don't know if you could ask for a whole lot more."

    Toney Baker

"I think it's going to be a great fit."

"It sits well with me. I think we have what it takes to do that if that's what he wants to start here... I just am really happy to have the opportunity to play up under him."

"It was a shock... thinking about what he did at Boston College, when I heard his name come out I thought it was just a rumor. It's fortunate that he did come here to NC State. I'm happy."

"No question. I feel like we will have that going into winter workouts and spring ball. To win in this league, I think you have to have a disciplined football team."

"I think it's good. I think it's going to help with recruiting a little bit."

    Harrison Beck

"They are a great football program. Boston College, they had the best quarterback in the ACC this year. They did great things on offense, and it will be fun to have a guy like him come in here and add a spark to the offense."

"We have great running backs here at NC State, so I personally feel if we can establish a good running game... you saw it allowed Matt Ryan to lead the ACC in passing and have a great year this year."

"They always have a great offense and a great defense... if we can take away some of the penalties that plagued us this year... it's going to be a different year next year."

"We were looking close to the coaching search... we were kind of nervous, no offense to the Navy guy, but he runs a triple option and we were kind of nervous about that."

"We followed it a lot. My mom is just relieved that we got coach O'Brien. She's excited for me and the opportunity for this football team."

"I transferred from Nebraska and I'm coming here to play and compete. I don't want to sit down. I'm a competitor and I want the ball in my hands. I want whatever is best for the football team. Everybody has an equal level here and he has no ties.... I came to play football and I'm going to do everything it takes to get on the field."

"My mom called me on the phone and said she just read on ESPN that coach O'Brien was the guy. I was just relieved. It looked like it was going to be the Navy guy and I was like I might have to leave now if they bring the triple option... it turns out that coach O'Brien is here, I'm excited, I'm excited for this football team and I think it's going to give us a great opportunity to win football games next year."
