C.J. Williams has been tearing up the competition recently and he was again on fire Wednesday night for Fayetteville (NC) Jack Britt.

Williams scored a game-high 32 points and snatched 12 rebounds to lead Britt past E.E. Smith 67-45 in the semifinals of the 2006 SunCom Boys' Basketball Holiday Tournament.

Most impressive about Williams was the way he tallied his points. He needed just 12 shot attempts to score his 32 points, as he connected on 10-of-12 field goals (1-of-2 from 3) and 11-of-16 from the free throw line.

Britt, the No. 1 seed of the tournament, will play Westover in the championship game at 8:00 p.m. Friday night at the Crown Arena.

Britt is now 11-1 on the season. Through 12 games, Williams is averaging 25.4 points and 8.3 boards.

Just a junior, Williams committed to NC State in November.
