Junior Video: C.J. Williams

Fayetteville (NC) Jack Britt star C.J. Williams committed to NC State in November after considering a host of offers. Here's your chance to catch the talented wing in action!

Name: C.J. Williams
Hometown: Fayetteville, North Carolina
High School: Jack Britt High School
Position: Shooting Guard/Small Forward
Vitals: 6'5/200/25.9 PPG

NOTES: C.J. Williams has been one of the most productive players in the region this season, as he is averaging 25.9 points and 8.8 boards for 12-3 Jack Britt.

However, he made his mark this summer on the AAU circuit for the Carolina Raptors and after standing out at several Elite Camps. As a sophomore, Williams averaged nearly 13 points per game while sharing time with other D-1 recruits.

"C.J. played sparingly for us as a freshman, but as a sophomore he started every game he was able to put on a uniform," said Jack Britt head coach Ike Walker. "Last year he was one of two underclassmen in our starting lineup. We had a 6'9 kid who ended up going to East Carolina, and we had a 6'3 small forward who went to Pfeiffer. C.J. averaged about 12 points a game last year, and he wasn't our primary option."

In these exclusive highlights, you can catch Williams in action against top 100 junior center Ty Walker and Wilmington (NC) New Hanover.

Next week we'll have more junior highlights of Williams in action so stay tuned!

COACH QUOTE: "This year his skill level allows him to play in a lot of places for us. He's going to be a leader for us on and off the court. His academics are sound. He's not walking around bragging about the opportunities he has. He's going to have to do a little of everything for us." -- Jack Britt Head Coach Ike Walker
