"Yes sir, I did visit Duke this weekend," Wilson told Pack Pride. "It was neat. It was a good visit. It was nice and everything."

Wilson, who originally verbaled to NC State late last summer, took his official visit to Raleigh two weekends ago and firmed up his commitment.

"It was amazing," Wilson said following the trip. "The visit was everything I thought it was going to be. The new coaching staff is incredible. It was great to finally get a chance to sit down and talk with coach O'Brien and coach Bible.

"I got a chance to talk with the other coaches and meet the players. They let me know what they are all about on the field and off the field. The current players were real cool."

After visiting the Blue Devils, is Wilson still committed to the Wolfpack?

"I visited Duke, but I am definitely committed to NC State," said Wilson. "I really like State. I've already called the State coaches. They are fine about everything. Everything is working out perfect."

The talented signal-caller led Richmond (VA) Collegiate to a 38-16 victory over Fork Union for their fourth straight VISFA Division I championship. For the season, Wilson passed for 2,993 yards and 33 touchdowns, and he was again named all-state, all-conference, and conference Player of the Year.
