Williams, a 6-foot-5 junior wing, hit a midrange jumper with five seconds left to break a 65-65 tie, leading Fayetteville (NC) Jack Britt to the 67-65 victory.
Williams finished with 24 points on 6-of-15 shooting from the field. He knocked down 2-of-5 3-pointers and 10-of-13 free throws while snatching 10 rebounds and adding six assists, three blocks, and two steals.
The win broke a three-game losing streak for Britt, as the Bucs are now 16-6 overall and 8-4 in conference play.
Williams is averaging 25 points and 9.7 rebounds per game this season.
