North Carolina and N.C. State have brought in new football coaches for the 2007 season. Butch Davis and Tom O'Brien take the first official step toward bringing in new players today, when recruits can sign binding national letters of intent.

North Carolina and N.C. State have brought in new football coaches for the 2007 season. Butch Davis and Tom O'Brien take the first official step toward bringing in new players today, when recruits can sign binding national letters of intent. Bryan is as good as his word

Deep down, George Bryan knew he'd honor his original commitment with N.C. State's football team, even though he wavered for a while. A senior at New Hanover, rated the No. 16 tight end in the South by Scout Inc., he wasn't sure he fit into new coach Tom O'Brien's offense. So after Chuck Amato was fired in November, Bryan talked with Clemson, which had continued to recruit him despite his commitment to State in April. Read More
