Locker Room Report: Seth Greenberg

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Virginia Tech head coach Seth Greenberg met with the media following the loss to NC State.

"I'm disappointed we didn't play better. We just weren't as active as I would've liked. We were prepared, had good focus in the walk-through. I'm very proud to be 8-4. I tip my hat to NC State. They made shots."

"They've played two of their better games against us. They have a great starting five. Those guys are very good players."

"We wanted to guard. We knew what we wanted to do. Let's face it, they went 11-of-15 from the 3-point line. They scored a lot of uncontested jump shots because we rotated poorly off the double-down."

"I'm proud of our guys. We're 8-4. We played back-to-back road games down here. We didn't play with the energy, we played with a purpose. We just didn't play well."

"I understand the big picture. We'll learn from this loss. I also know we've played six of the last eight on the road, and we've come down here twice in the last 72 hours. I also know we have three home games left."
