Junior Highlights: Kevin Reddick

NC State recently offered New Bern (NC) star Kevin Reddick a scholarship, joining North Carolina, South Carolina, and East Carolina among others. Here's your chance to catch the talented in-state linebacker in action!

Name: Kevin Reddick
Hometown: New Bern, North Carolina
High School: New Bern High School
Position: Linebacker
Vitals: 6'1/215/4.6

Notes: Kevin Reddick was a terror at middle linebacker during his junior season. He tallied 102 tackles to lead the area in the statistic, and he added two interceptions and a blocked punt with two returns for touchdowns.

He put on a show at the recent Shrine Bowl combine held in Snow Hill, North Carolina. Measuring in at 6-foot-2 and 208 pounds, Reddick benched 185 pounds 21 times and ripped off a 4.50 forty and a 4.27 20-yard shuttle.

He already holds offers from North Carolina, NC State, East Carolina, Alabama, and South Carolina. Currently he is leaning towards North Carolina, a program he is very familiar with.

"They're still at the top, but I want to keep my options open," Reddick recently told Inside Carolina's Don Callahan. "I'm not going to commit until next year, but I'm liking them, though. I'm liking them a lot."

COACH QUOTE: "[He's] very athletic. He's a big kid that runs well and has that instinct you need at linebacker – he has a nose for the football. He reads the play well and he keys on the different things we teach him to key on and he's not wrong very often." -- New Bern Head Coach Bobby Curlings
