North Carolina State gave Boyertown, Pa., native Tyler Sands his 20th scholarship offer today, and his sixth from the ACC.

The 6-foot-4, 285-pound offensive lineman is being recruited at every position along the offensive line and did not indicate which the Wolfpack are offering at.

"I just wanted to call you real quick and let you know that a coach from North Carolina State called me today and told me an offer was in the mail for me," Sands said.

Sands now holds offers from North Carolina State, Cincinnati, Wisconsin, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Army, Boston College, Delaware, Villanova, Illinois, Akron, Duke, Navy, Nebraska, Temple, Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech, Virginia, Maryland and Connecticut.

A three-star prospect according to Scout.com, Sands is one of the top offensive line prospects in the country.

"I'm quick and have good explosion off the ball," said Sands. "I'm good at pass protection and run blocking. I also have good footwork for my size, but want to improve my forty speed.

"My agility is good, but I need better speed and I'm working on getting my lower body stronger. I have a strong chest, but my arms need to get stronger too."

Pack Pride will have more on Tyler Sands in the near future so stay tuned!
