Charlotte DB Hoping for Wolfpack Offer

After camping at NC State a few weeks ago, it is clear that the Wolfpack made a favorable impression on CB Brandon Robinson from Charlotte (NC) Christian. The rising senior has attracted some solid attention from the Pack and Robinson is hoping that will be parlayed into a scholarship offer at some point during the recruiting year.

Robinson talked about his recent trip to Raleigh.

"One thing you could tell is that they care a lot about their players and their program up there," said Robinson. "The atmosphere was really nice and they have some great facilities. Coach Bridge (NC State tight end's coach Jim Bridge) is recruiting me and I could tell he's a really nice, genuine guy.

"I think of the division one schools recruiting me, State is probably the closest to offering. I think schools really just want to see some of my senior film"

In addition to NC State- Wake Forest, Duke and several smaller schools, including Appalachian State are recruiting Robinson. He says he has a couple that he's paying particular attention to.

"Right now, I'm really focused on improving and trying to play at the next level but I do like NC State and Wake Forest.."

Lining up as a wide receiver and cornerback for Charlotte Christian, Robinson (6-1, 165 pounds) collected 60 tackles, four interceptions and nine pass breakups en route to all-conference honors as a junior. He will move over to free safety for his senior season.
