Andre Brown Audio

On his role without Baker
"Me and Baker were more of a one-two combo, to lighten the load on carries and things of that nature. It's a challenge but I'm going to have to step up and produce."

On Jamelle Eugene
"He's not just going to be a third-down back anymore. He's going to be in there rotating series with me, so as we go into this week he's going to have to step up."

On his increased workload
"It's an opportunity to show what I can do and contribute to the team and the victories. Any time you chance to touch the ball more and help the team out you get excited."

On any change in his preparation this week
"Not really [any change], we usually split the carries in practice anyways. The only difference is going to be at game time."

Tom O'Brien Audio

On the team's conditioning
"Our kids have always been conditioned. We play a lot of kids and rotate a lot of kids - I don't think fatigue was an issue on Saturday night."

On Eugene's increased role
"He's practiced hard, he's a good back, he's worked. He's gotten a lot of reps in preseason practice and he was ready to go Saturday night now he steps up and we'll get more reps. We're very confident with him."

On the intensity of this week's practice
"I think the kids are trying hard. We'll see how it works out on Saturday."
