Neal, a junior from Wilmington, North Carolina, started the opener against Central Florida at cornerback for the Wolfpack. After playing 18 snaps against Boston College, his playing time dwindled over the next three games, as he didn't play against Louisville.
In three years, Neal started four games for th Wolfpack, totaling 39 tackles and five pass breakups.
Like Neal, Franklin also hails from Wilmington and also began the season as a starter for the Wolfpack. The redshirt freshman started the first two games at punter, but was replaced by Bradley Pierson after the loss to Boston College. In two games, Franklin averaged 31.9 yards per punt with one downed inside the 20-yard line.
Bond, a true freshman from Ahoskie, North Carolina, had yet to play in the 2007 season.
The future destinations of all three players are unknown at this point.
