On Friday our defense played a great game. We played well on offense but on a couple drives we just couldn't get it in. In the end we still won 31-0, but we should've won by more considering our defense let up only about five first downs and zero in the first half.

I had a decent game for us. I was 19-of-26 for 196 yards and three touchdowns. I still missed some passes that I wish I could have back.

I didn't get to see much of the FSU game on Saturday because I went up to my cousin's game in Maryland, but I was refreshing my dad's Blackberry about every 30 seconds. I did see the highlights and that catch by Greg Carr... ridiculous! I was texting E.J. [Manuel] and Deion [Walker] throughout the game, but towards the end I kinda let it go because E.J. could've ripped on us [haha].

"He saw me on one
of the websites doing
the Wolfpack symbol."

I have faith in these coaches. All you have to do is look at Boston College right now. You have to give credit to the new staff, but the foundation our coaching staff gave them shows what we will be capable of.

Also, I was at my cousin's game at around 2. Coach Willis called me while I was there... so an hour and a half before kickoff I got a call from Coach Willis. It really meant a lot to me that he called me right before they were going to take the field for such a big game.

It was funny because when he called he mentioned how he saw me on one of the websites doing the Wolfpack symbol in a picture.

I had the worst game of the season on Friday. I think I ended up 4-of-9 for 130 yards with two touchdowns and an interception.

On the interception I just threw it behind the receiver and it was just a really bad throw. I then overthrew a receiver and on another play forced a pass. So those are three passes I wish I could have back.

"The better BC does the better
our coaching staff looks."
We still won big and my running back had a great game finishing with a career-high four touchdowns and a good 250 yards rushing.

I am shocked with all the teams losing. There was no doubt in my mind that LSU was going to go undefeated and win the national championship. Also it is unbelievable how good Boston College and South Florida are doing. The better BC does the better our coaching staff looks.

Hopefully Sean gets to play again against them and shows the whole country how good he really is. I was really proud of the way he played on Saturday. Some people may say it's only Duke, but he was throwing the ball the best I've ever seen him throw. Hopefully things will continue to work out for him after all the adversity he has faced.

Thursday, October 18 (7:45 P.M.)
I'm watching the Rutgers and South Florida game right now, and I really hope that Rutgers can pull off the upset.

"I ate a little more
than usual to get started
on that weight I'm
trying to put on!"
I just found out today that we play South Florida next year and that we open up the season with South Carolina. I knew we played USC, but I had no idea we open up with them and since it is on a Thursday, my guess is we're going to be the first college football game of the year. I think today I ate a little more than usual to get started on that weight I'm trying to put on!

I already talked to Sean about the game today, and he said he'll get me as ready as he can. Every day I find something to get me more excited about getting down there.

We play against Herndon tomorrow. It's suppose to storm, but I'm hoping it will hold off. Our final two regular season games are away so it's our Senior Night. It really shows that time flies, but I'd like to think that we will have three more home games in the playoffs.
