We played pretty well this week by beating 71st. The game was close in the first half... it was tied 3-3, but we came out of halftime and blew the game open. We ended up winning 27-3.

"I thought I had
another strong game."

Our defense really started hitting their quarterback and running back, and I could tell they started playing a little scared. We were only rushing four and they kept getting to the quarterback with some real good pressure. That made him throw it up for grabs and we finished with five interceptions. I think they only had one catch, so we actually caught the ball more from their quarterback than they did.

I thought I had another strong game. I finished with 20 tackles, but after I found out my total I heard that another one my linebackers had more than me. James Robinson had 22 so we both combined for 42 tackles that game. James is real good. He comes out next year... he's just a junior. I think he'll get recruited real hard when his time comes.

I think we find out for sure about the Shrine Bowl this week. I feel I'm going to be playing in it. I haven't received a phone call yet, but I got a letter. It would be a great game to play in, but to be honest with you I've got everything I want right now. If I play in the game, that would be great, but if not I'll just be ready to take my game to the next level up at State.

Coach Bridge called me this week... he did the one phone call for State this week. It's always good talking to him, and I think they are coming down for my game this week.

This is the big one for us. We've got Richmond coming to our place. I think this is the biggest rivalry in the state. Both teams are undefeated and we feel like this is going to decide the conference champion.

I know that Richmond has a really good quarterback. I think we're going to come up with a good defensive plan that can take care of him. He's very athletic... he's real fast.

Look for me to stay in the middle and just make a lot of plays. The coaches want me to fly sideline-to-sideline and get to the football. I might even spy the quarterback a lot... stuff like that.

I'm excited about having it here at Scotland for our home fans. It would be good to get that win in front of our home fans. I just know there is going to be a lot of people... it's going to be a great environment.

I don't know too many of the Richmond players personally, but I have a few of them that write me on MySpace. Most of them are talking the normal junk... I actually had one guy who wrote me saying he knows we are going to beat them and he hopes we take it easy on them. There are some others that are big-headed and think they are going to beat us, but I'm not worried about it.
