We played pretty well on Friday against Herndon. We got up to an early 27-0 lead at half. Two plays into the second half we had about a 70-yard touchdown run, so it was another short night for me. I finished 8-14 passing for 105 yards and three touchdowns.
At about 2 o'clock on Saturday afternoon I got a call from Coach Willis. He was calling to see how my game went, and he told me he thinks that the bye week was very helpful to them and that they'd be a lot better against East Carolina. I guess he was right. I don't have CSTV so I didn't get to watch the game, but I spent the whole afternoon on the computer refreshing the gametracker to pay attention to the game.
|"I'm happy for Daniel Evans."|
I'm happy for Daniel Evans. He's been through a lot of criticism during his time at State and it's good to see him have a VERY good game against a very good ECU team.
Coach Willis said he's going to try to either come up to my game this week or next week. He said the d-line played very well against ECU.
I also wanted to talk to him because my receiver is interested in becoming a walk-on so I'm hoping that will work out. Seven games through the year he has 11 receiving touchdowns, which already ties the school record held by Eddie Royal. I'm hoping he'll have the opportunity but other than that I hope State plays well again on Saturday and starts to open some eyes at the end of the season.

This is going to be a real quick entry. I'm watching the Tech game right now and it's halftime. I think Sean is playing pretty well so far, but that touchdown was very questionable... I'll take it!
I don't think Matt Ryan has played a defense like this before, and he doesn't look like his normal self. Hopefully Tech's defense will keep playing well and Sean will keep leading hte offense.
Tomorrow we play Oakton who is always a strong team. They have given us problems in previous years so we have to be ready. It's been raining for about two days straight so I dont know if we are going to play tomorrow or Saturday.
