Today we have the day off from school for a teacher's workday, but I have practice later on.
Most of you don't know but our game against Centreville is basically like State's game against UNC. So all week the hype is built up, and they were just coming off a very big win so they thought they had a shot to stay with us. First play of the game I threw a 76-yard touchdown... the game was over right then. Our defense played excellent, held them scoreless, and scored two touchdowns for us. With about five minutes left in the first quarter it was already 23-0, and we ended up winning 33-0. We have the No. 1 seed in the playoffs and play against South County first.

That was a huge win for State against Miami. I was able to watch the whole game until overtime because I had to leave for my game. I called my dad when I was in the locker room, and he told me Miami missed the field goal and we made ours.
To beat a team like Miami after starting the year 1-5 is pretty impressive, but I'm not real surprised at State's turnaround. Anytime a team loses three very important players on offense it's going to be tough to bounce back, but they fought back and showed to never give up. I knew all along at some point these coaches would show how good they really are and that bye week was obviously a big help for the program. I've had confidence since the day I committed that this NC State team will eventually become a national contender. That hasn't changed.
I'll be down at the game on Saturday unless some rain comes and pushes our game back to Saturday. I'm going down with my quarterbacks coach and our wide reciever that wants to walk on to the team. I called Deion [Walker] last night, and he said a bunch of his friends are going down. He was thinking about going but since I'm going down he almost definitely is going to make it. I'm excited to go down there because I still haven't been to an NC State game before in my life. Ya'll have to be extra loud for Deion!

I just got back from a hypnotist show at our school. Last year I was called on stage but it didn't work on me. I think having a hypnotist show for strictly the football team would be a real good time because you will know everyone that is on stage.

I texted Deion today to ask if he was definitely coming and he said his mom wants him to stay home for the weekend, but he wants to go down there some other time with me. I was hoping I would be able to spend some time with him but hopefully we'll be able to get down there another time.
First off I'm excited to meet all the commits that are coming in with me. I'm going to be living with these guys for the next 4-5 years of my life and really the only one I have met is T.J. [Graham]. So I am real excited to hang out with all the guys and get to know them better.
Also, this is the first time I'll be in an NC State atmosphere. I hope I get to meet some of the fans and alumni and I can't explain how excited I am to finally be able to get down for a game.
I loved that YouTube video of that little kid. I think I showed it to about everyone I know. That would be a great video to show on the Jumbotran before the game. I can't wait to get down there and I'm hoping we will pull out the W.
