Pack Lands New Commitment

NC State has landed another football commitment out of the state of Georgia. This one will likely play in the offensive backfield.

NC State picked up it's 14th verbal commitment for the class of 2008 when FB Colby Jackson from Trinity Christian Academy in Dublin, Ga pledged to the Pack.

Pack Pride spoke briefly with Jackson's mother as Jackson was at football practice and unavailable for comment.

"Yes, he's committed to NC State," she said. "He actually committed to them yesterday evening."

Jackson has rushed for 2,356 yards and 38 touchdowns this year and has gained at least 200 yards in every game he's played.

Jackson was recruited as a fullback for NC State.

Stay tuned as Pack Pride will have much more on Jackson later.
