At State's game, many fans came up to me and said that they enjoy reading my diary every week so I would like to say I appreciate you all reading about my boring season.

But that game was great. I don't think I could've picked a better game to come to. The atmosphere, the rivalry, and of course the big 'W.'

"That game was great."

As excited as the fans were after that game, being in the locker room I'm willing to say that I've never seen Coach O'Brien so happy in my life. He usually doesn't show too much emotion but his face had a big smile on it from the time I walked in to see him until the time I left. He said that he's never had a group of coaches do such a good job.

I was quick to remind him that only one more win and we are bowl eligible, but he shook his head because he said we don't want to go 6-6 and be .500 and go to a bowl, we want to be 7-5 and go to a bowl.

That statement really stood out to me that they don't want to me a mediocre .500 team... they want to take it to the next level.

I really enjoyed meeting the other commitments that were at the game. It felt good to get an idea of who I will be playing with in college. I talked to R.J. Mattes for a while before the game and he was a real nice kid and I'm hoping we have a chance to land him, not only because he's a good kid but also because I want him to be protecting my backside.

Again I'd like to thank all those that came up to me at the game, and I hope to be a great representative of State over my college career.

P.S. - We are undefeated in games I have been at!

I just finished reading Terrell's diary and I'm glad to see that he is a competitive person. I'm sure most of you all will say his is better just to build his self-esteem up because I know he was jealous of the fact that fans came up to me first (that may be because I am about the tallest person in the stadium), and then they would see him next to me so they felt bad not saying 'Hi' to him as well.

Also, he didn't get any pictures with the ladies so he is just trying to make you all feel bad for him and show him some love. Go ahead and say his is better to make him feel better but deep down on the inside we all know you look forward to Friday's to read mine a lot more than you look forward to Wednesday's when you read his.

On that note, the competition is on Terell...

Thursday, November 15 (7:40 P.M.)
Tomorrow is the second round of the playoffs and if we win we will make it to the regional championship. We play against West Potomac. For those of you that follow recruiting closely, Jimmy Bennent plays for them. He plays guard for them and suprisingly he is their middle linebacker. He is by far the biggest middle linebacker I have ever seen.

"I'll be a little boastful ."

They are very, very big up front with good athletes on the outside. They are a team that thinks their athletes are better than ours so they play a lot of man coverage, cover 0... cover 1, but I think that our receivers are going to do a great job against them.

It's the first time that our schools have ever played against each other so they don't know much about us and we really don't know much about them.

I don't know if I have said this in a previous diary but to show how good of coaches we have this pretty much sums it all up. In the past six years, Westfield is 58-2 in the regular season. I'll be a little boastful in saying this, but with a Glennon as the starting quarterback, I think we are 43-0 during the that time. That kind of shows how good of coaches we have which is a big reason for all the success we've had here at my school.
