Dorien Bryant is beginning to narrow down his choices, as he has started the process of solidifying his official visits. His current list includes Purdue (11/8), Boston College (12/6), Tennessee (12/13), and NC State (1/24). Vying for the final visit is Notre Dame, Penn State and Michigan.
His top three remain, Boston College, Tennessee and NC State. We asked Dorien what he liked about each of those schools:
- Tennessee -"Tennessee is Tennessee. They have the tradition. They need receivers and I would have a good chance at early playing time. The coaches are cool, and I liked the area."
- Boston College - "I have liked them a long time now. They were the first to start recruiting me. I have gotten to know the coaching staff and the team pretty well. They are a team on the rise, and they could break out year next year."
- NC State - "I have also liked them for awhile now. I like their offense. My high school coach use to be roommates with Coach Amato. They have a little contact there. Coach Demarest is recruiting me."
Bryant is in no hurry to make his decision. "I am going to take my five visits, then decide. Any decision I make will be hard. If I had just one school that I was looking at, then it would be easy. All these schools, I like for different reasons. I am sure I will know my choice when I get back after my NC State visit."
Bryant's team is currently 4-1. He has only played in four games, but has amassed 880 yards with 15 touchdowns. "I only played in four games. I had a minor strain in my shoulder, and I rested this past week. Our team lost the one game. We had a few people in the wrong positions and we have made some adjustments. I think we are getting better."
