Recently described as one of the top high school offensive linemen in Canada by Western University head coach Greg Marshall, Ahmad Jaradat from London Central Catholic School may have been a recruiting unknown to many south of the border but not to the NC State coaching staff.
At 6-4, 290 pounds, Jaradat was named regional lineman of the year. He made the 900 mile trip to Raleigh this weekend and pulled the trigger on a verbal commitment to the Wolfpack on Saturday. Pack Pride spoke briefly with Jaradat's mother who confirmed his decision to run with the Pack.
"Yes, he committed to NC State this weekend," she said. "He spoke with his brother and told him how much he liked NC State. There were some other schools (from the United States) talking with him before he committed. He's planning to enroll in January."
Stay tuned as Pack Pride will have more on Jaradat after he returns home later this evening.
