Michael Hinton considers new offers

It has been a while since our last update on Mike so we thought it be a good idea to check in on him to get the latest recruiting news.

The more things change, the more recruiting stays the same. Just when we thought Michael Hinton was a semi-lock to wear red & white, a few more offers get thrown in the mix to muddy the water.

Mike is in the middle of his senior year at Hargrave Military Academy and had this to say about his time there; "I am doing just fine up at Hargrave. I really enjoy the experiences I receive here. I have been doing good on the field also. I start at free safety and play a little of strong. I haven't had the chance to play any corner, but that is what I really want to play in college."

As for recruiting, well Hinton says "Recruiting has been going good. Since at Hargrave I have received offers from Tennessee and Virginia Tech. I really like both schools and Virginia Tech has a lot of the things I am looking for in a college. As does Tennessee."

As for NC State .. "NC State is still in the mix along with other schools, but Virginia Tech is recruiting me the hardest at this time."

At one point Mike was intent on making an early college decision, but with the new high-profile offers received, he is now very comfortable taking his time to make his choice. "My decision is still up for grabs and there is still a lot of time to make a decision. Right now I don't know if I will commit anytime soon. I will be taking my visits and really start paying attention to details."
