UA Gallery: Barnes and Glennon

ORLANDO, FL -- Here are exclusive shots of NC State commitments Mike Glennon and Brandon Barnes in action during Friday's final practice for the 2008 Under Armour All-American Bowl. The game is set for 2:00 pm tomorrow and will be televised nationally on ABC.

NC State commitment Mike Glennon is expected to start at quarterback for the Red team.

Glennon won the 2008 Burger King Pass Attack, the quarterback event of the Burker King Skills Challenge.

The 6-foot-6, 200-pounder is rated the No. 4 quarterback nationally according to ESPN.com and the No. 9 quarterback nationally according to Scout.com.

Glennon led his Chantilly (VA) Westfield team to a state title and undefeated recording during his senior season.

Glennon committed to NC State over offers from Michigan, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Purdue, and Miami among others.

He is expected to battle for the Wolfpack's starting quarterback position as a true freshman.

Glennon is the younger brother of Virginia Tech starting quarterback Sean Glennon. Sean Glennon led Virginia Tech to the ACC title as a junior and an appearance in the Orange Bowl.

NC State commitment Brandon Barnes will play tailback for the Silver squad.

Barnes is also expected to return kicks during the game.

A consensus four-star prospect nationally, Barnes is considered by most an "athlete," as he could play tailback, wide receiver, or safety at NC State.

While he is playing tailback this week for the Silver squad, he suited up at safety for North Carolina in this year's Shrine Bowl.

Barnes led Bunn High School in tackles as a senior.

Arguably the state's most heavily recruited player, Barnes committed to NC State over offers from Florida, Florida State, Michigan, North Carolina, Clemson, Auburn, Southern Cal, and Virginia Tech among others.
