RALEIGH, N.C. -- NC State head coach Sidney Lowe met with the media to discuss tonight's game against Georgia Tech.

"I thought that was a very physical game. I thought those guys came out ready to play."

"I felt the second half we made a run there and we started turning the ball over a little bit and that cost us... unforced errors and we didn't make some shots when we needed to."

"Actually Courtney was suppose to get it. In the huddle we were talking about Javy getting it and then we were changing it to let Courtney come off for that shot. He thought I meant for him to come up and set the screen. Which was still fine because initially it was Javy anyways and Javy was still open for the shot."

"I disagree... we chart our executions and charting when we ran our plays it was actually a high rate."

"We caught the ball out one time and we tried to drive from beyond the 3-point line and they stole the ball from us with one of our bigs trying to drive. That's not something we do. That's not the play."

"I think [Javy's confidence] is getting better. It's a very difficult situation... he was playing tonight, especially in Causey, an experienced senior... I think he's going to continue to get better."
