Wall Profile: Rated the No. 1 point guard and the No. 3 player overall in the 2009 class by, John Wall has had a huge spring. He already has a host of scholarship offers and more will come as the process extends.

With NC State being the hometown school, the Wolfpack are certainly in the mix. Wall has already taken a few unofficial visits to NC State and is developing a relationship with the coaching staff.

As it stands now, he will be making a late decision, possibly after his senior season. NC State appears to be a major contender, along with Memphis, Kentucky, Oregon, Baylor, and Oklahoma State.

Favors Profile: The crown jewel of the 2009 class, Favors remains the No. 1 prospect in the country according to

NC State has been recruiting Favors for a long time, and have made him a priority in the post. However, it will be a battle to land his signature, as he is coveted by nearly every program in the country. In-state programs Georgia Tech and Georgia are believed to be major contenders, although Favors has never publicly named a leader.

F Ryan Kelly

Ryan Kelly

Hometown: Raleigh, NC

Kelly Profile: What a difference a year makes! After entering the spring of his junior year as a mid-major player, Kelly has blossomed into one of the elite players in the 2009 class.

Kelly's emergence as a high-major target has come about because of his toughness in the post, ability to score from the perimeter, and the fact that he keeps growing.

As a sophomore Kelly averaged 14.5 points and nine boards for Raleigh (NC) Ravenscroft. Tabbed Conference Player of the Year as a junior, Kelly led Ravenscroft to a 24-6 record by averaging 24 points and ten rebounds a game.

A local recruit for NC State, it will be hard keeping him in Raleigh. A host of programs are heavily involved, and Kelly maintains that he is wide open.

C Matt Wilson

Matt Wilson

Hometown: Raleigh, NC
High School: Ravenscroft High School
Vitals: 7-0/225/

Wilson Profile: A late-bloomer, Wilson is coming on strong following a big spring.

Wilson began his prep career playing three years at Raleigh (NC) Millbrook High School before reclassifying and transferring to Ravenscroft. Last year was his first with the Ravens, and if you ask Wilson he'll tell you he didn't play up to his potential.

"It was my first year at Ravenscroft, and I was just getting used to the system," said Wilson. "I think a lot of times during the year I was thinking more about what I was supposed to do instead of just going out there and playing. It kind of hurt my confidence.

"I think when you look at the big picture I probably didn't play up to my potential as well as I should have. I am now comfortable in our system, and people have seen it at these team camps. I think next year is just going to be completely different for me as a player at Ravenscroft."

NC State is heavily involved after Wilson turned in a strong performance at the Wolfpack's team camp. Others in the mix include South Carolina, Davidson, and UNC-Wilmington.

Wilson is currently rated a two-star prospect by

F Karron Johnson

Karron Johnson

Hometown: Durham, North Carolina

AAU Team: Richmond Squires
Notable Events Remaining: Cincinnati, OH: Adidas Take 5 Classic (7/6-7/8), Las Vegas Tournaments (7/22-7/26)

Johnson Profile: Johnson is a combo forward capable of impacting the game on both ends of the floor. He's tough, athletic, plays with a mean streak, and demands attention.

Hailing from the same school that produced Tracy Smith, expect Johnson to get a strong look from the Wolfpack. Academically he has to stay on track, and the majority of programs continue to track his maturation on and off the court. Talent-wise, he can play with anybody.

Johnson is rated a four-star prospect and the No. 15 power forward in the country by

F Tristan Spurlock

A strong spring led to a good list of scholarship offers, and it appears he'll take some visits before deciding.

Teams believed to be heavily involved include Virginia, Georgetown, NC State, and Clemson.

Richard Howell

He was tracking as an elite prospect early in his career, but a knee injury sidelined him and he's rounding his game back into shape.

Howell attends J.J. Hickson's old high school and plays for his AAU team... NC State will be evaluating him in July. This is a big month for Howell's recruitment.

Class of 2010 Commitments

F C.J. Leslie

C.J. Leslie

Hometown: Holly Springs, NC
High School: Word of God Academy

Schools of Interest: NC STATE COMMITMENT
AAU Team: World Wide Renegades Black
Notable Events Remaining: Cincinnati, OH: Adidas Take 5 Classic (7/6-7/8), Peach State Summer Classic (7-11/7-13), Las Vegas Tournaments (7/22-7/26) Leslie Profile: A frequent visitor at NC State basketball games, Leslie was offered a scholarship after attending the Wolfpack's camp in 2007 and quickly accepted.

"I'm a big man and I can handle the ball a little," Leslie said. "What I really wanted to do was to go a good ACC college close to home. Coach Lowe said that I could do it in the system. He's got Brandon Costner and he lets him shoot outside and I thought it would be a good fit."

A member of the heralded 2010 in-state class, Leslie is a combo forward who is already 6-foot-8 and nearly 200 pounds. His body is still maturing and filling out, but he is already very skilled with the basketball. He has solid footwork in the post, already has a couple of go-to post moves, and he hits the boards with a purpose.

He needs to work on strength, conditioning, and controlling his emotions, but Leslie has major upside. He is considered one of the top players in the state, regardless of class.

After a stellar sophomore year at Raleigh (NC) Word of God, Leslie has been tearing it up on the AAU circuit and is currently a five-star prospect rated No. 14 in the 2010 class.

Harrow earned an offer from NC State after showcasing his talents at the Wolfpack's Elite Camp. After a couple of weeks, he visited Raleigh with his mother and verbaled shortly afterwards.

As a sophomore at Concord (NC) Cannon School, Harrow was averaging 16 points and five assists, leading the team in both categories, when he left the team during towards the end of the season to transfer back to Marietta (GA) Walton where he could be with his mother following the death of his grandmother.

Mabry Profile: Mabry picked up an early offer from NC State and has since claimed offers from Wake Forest, Xavier and Clemson. He stated that he's hoping to camp at Wake in the near future.

NC State is recruiting Mabry as a wing/combo forward. A bouncy athlete with range to the 3-point line, Mabry does a good job of filling the stat sheet and is a solid all-around player. With a couple of extra inches, he could be one of the best at his position in his class.

F Melvin Tabb

He emerged at the Hoop Jamboree and high-major coaches will be tracking his progress during the July Evaluation Period. Expect NC State to watch the local product... also rumors are he could end up at Word of God Christian Academy with Wall and Leslie this year.

F C.J. Fair

C.J. Fair

Hometown: Baltimore, Maryland
