PC: McCuller, Michel Meet the Media

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Jeraill McCuller and Ray Michel met with the media today to discuss the upcoming game against Duke.

Jeraill McCuller

"From an offensive standpoint, coach Bible just told every offensive player to pick out three things he needs to get better at and focus on them."

"I wanted to work on setting more vertical in my sets as an offensive lineman."

"I think there was a point where coach O'Brien and coach Bible challenged us to man up... just really focus and pay attention to detail so we could start doing some positive things on the offensive side of the ball."

"I think there is a lot more leadership. A lot of guys are developing as leaders... I think all those things are showing on the field on Saturday."

"[Offensive linemen] usually try getting together on Thursdays to watch extra film."

"You can tell they are a mature group. Their defensive line is real big and athletic. #3 and #91 are really active... just good players."

"It's a privilege. [Russell Wilson] is a real athletic QB and he moves around a lot. You can't give up on a block. You've got to stay on your guy until you hear that whistle... you don't want to be that guy looking around when the play ends."

"You can tell [Wilson] has matured a lot. He's getting a lot more comfortable out there on the field, he delivers the plays a lot better. You can just feel his confidence on the field."

"There are four games left. We win those four and we're bowl eligible. It's definitely something we're shooting for but before you win those four you have to win that first one. We're just focusing on the Duke Blue Devils right now."

"I just know we play them on Saturday and we're excited about it... as is the rest of the team."

"Coach Horton is one of the best coaches in the nation, hands down. He comes in the meeting room and lets us know that we are getting better and it's showing on film, but we have nothing to be satisfied with. We're not putting 'W's' on the board. We're not doing our job. We've just got to find a way to get that 'W' at the end of the game... we can't get satisfied with anything.

"We're the offensive line. We go out there and we try to play as aggressive and tenacious as possible. We're the offensive line, that's what we are supposed to do. We don't deserve pats on the back for that and we don't look for them. We just want to play good football."

"We watch a lot of extra film together, we go out to eat dinner together... go to Olive Garden. We watch movies together, play games, play cards. We try and interact with each other as much as possible."

"We clean it up [at the Olive Garden]."

Ray Michel

"I would say they are very aggressive as a unit. The offensive linemen get up to the next level pretty good. They are a pretty good football team all-around right now."

"We all got together, not only during practice and workouts but we got together outside of football to get to know each other a lot better than we do now."

"We knew what we had to do."

"We can understand what some guys are playing for and how much it really means to the guys."

"Our coach told us before, we're at the bottom of the pole right now and we're the laughingstock of the ACC. I feel that we should prove that we're a better team than what our wins and losses have showed."

"It made me furious. I was a little upset to hear that... it was during the open week."
