Locker Room Report: Wolfpack Players

Trevor Ferguson, Julius Mays and Brandon Costner met with the media following the Pack's 78-58 win over Lipscomb on Saturday afternoon.

David Thompson

"Coming into the game we thought they were going to play zone so I knew I was going to have to be ready to knock down some shots. We did a great job moving the ball and I was able to knock down a couple of shots today."

"That's part of basketball – there is going to be injuries and players have to be ready to step up and take on a bigger role. We're a really unselfish team and we've been moving the ball really well – it really is a team effort – nothing individual and we are getting the job done."

Tommy Burleson

"We are playing well, we are playing together, we are playing hard so I'm just ready for us to go out there on Monday and leave it all on the court."

"It's a good test for us early in the year. We just want to keep improving every game, every practice. We are doing that so far. We are definitely not doing as well as we could be but we are moving in the right direction."

"Coach Towe tells us about [the 1974 team] every day. We probably know a little bit more about them than we hoped for."

"[Towe] has a story about how he had 30 rebounds one game. I think its false. He talks about it like it really happened so I just let him believe it."
