"I had a great visit," said Roberson. "My host was Zach Allen, he's from Georgia like me and we got along real well. I enjoyed everything about it.
"Before I left I spoke with coach O'Brien and the defensive line coach and I committed. I just know that's where I want to go to college after being up there."
After collecting 35 tackles, 12 tackles for loss and three sacks as a junior, most expected big things from Roberson during his senior campaign.
The 6-3, 270-pound lineman picked up offers from Memphis, East Carolina, Louisville, West Virginia, NC State, Michigan State, Maryland, Iowa State and Georgia Southern in the months leading up to the start of his senior year.
However, his season was cut short almost before it started.
"I got hurt in the first game," said Roberson. "I dislocated my ankle and they said it would take 8-12 weeks to recover."
Roberson had already taken an official visit to Louisville and previously stated that he would take a few more visits before Signing Day. Is that still the case?
"No sir," said Roberson. "I'm going to NC State. I'm not taking anymore visits."
Pack Pride will have more on Roberson in the near future so stay tuned!
