RALEIGH, N.C. -- Head coach Sidney Lowe met with reporters following the Pack's win over North Carolina Central.

"I just like the fact that we were able to play. Last year we had a couple of times where we had a week off and then the next game that we played we were very sluggish. Hopefully we got something out of this game in terms of just playing and trying to stay sharp."

"We felt we should have an advantage [inside], but we knew they were going to trap down and front the post and make it tough for us inside. But our bigs were patient enough."

"Johnny plays hard and that was a great dunk he had on that break. You know what you are going to get when he's in the game. I don't ever have to wonder if he's going to be ready to play or if he's going to play hard. That's all you can ask from a player."

"Just the way the game went. [Williams not playing] was basically a coach's decision. Rotations and things we were looking for, match-up situations."

"Farnold wasn't moving too well tonight and Javi has been playing well in practice. He's been the best point guard in the last five practices we've had so he's earned the right to come out and play."
