POSITION BREAKDOWN (NOTE: The information here is solely the opinion of Pack Pride and should be considered for discussion purposes only.)

Sam Jones

STRENGTHS: Jones has a big-time frame, long arms and good feet.

WEAKNESSES: He needs to continue working on technique and developing as an all-around offensive lineman.

IMPACT IN 2009? Because he is older than most incoming freshmen, there is a slight chance Jones could see some limited action in 2009 although a redshirt would probably be a best-case scenario given the returning upperclassmen.

Tyson Chandler

STRENGTHS: Chandler has a mammoth frame, plays hard and can dominate at times. For his size he has very good feet and a high-motor.

WEAKNESSES: He needs to continue working on his foot speed, strength and conditioning, and technique as he will be making the move to offensive line from defensive tackle.

ACADEMICS: Question mark
