POSITION BREAKDOWN (NOTE: The information here is solely the opinion of Pack Pride and should be considered for discussion purposes only.)

    Chris Ward

STRENGTHS: Ward gets good distance and hang time on punts consistently. He is a great directional punter that gets good placement... also has solid hands. Originally began his prep career as a soccer goalie before playing football.

WEAKNESSES: None particularly but will need to go through learning curve to D-1.

    ACADEMICS: Projects as a qualifier

IMPACT IN 2009? Ward could very well contend for playing time in 2009.

    Brandan Bishop

STRENGTHS: A ferocious hitter and fearless, Bishop thrives on contact. He has good instincts and reads plays extremely well. He gets the most out of his physical ability, and he has a great frame with which to build.

WEAKNESSES: He could work on speed and improving strength.

    ACADEMICS: Projects as a qualifier

    IMPACT IN 2009? Likely Redshirt

    Donald Coleman

STRENGTHS: Like Bishop, Coleman loves to hit. He is very solid in run support and reads plays well, reacting quickly due to his instincts.

WEAKNESSES: Coleman did not receive a lot of reps in pass defense so he will need time to work and improve on this aspect of his game.

    ACADEMICS: Enrolled

IMPACT IN 2009? Because of early enrollment, Coleman could see time in 2009 but redshirting may be more likely.
