"I thought our guys gave a pretty good effort. We turned it over a couple of times crucially and it gave them an opportunity to get out and run."

"I thought he played well for us... we all know this team is going to come out and put a lot of pressure on you that first five minutes of the second half."

"They got up on the wings, tried to deny a little bit."

"I thought Javy played well. This is an experienced team... a team that knows how to win."

"They impose their will on other people."

"They know how to win. Once they get you down, they'll execute you... force a team to defend. They have a lot of weapons too, 1-5. All of those guys can score the ball. That makes it easier I think."

"I don't like to lose, but I'm proud of my guys. I'm proud of the way they played. This is a very good ballclub, Carolina is good... I'm very proud of our guys. We did a lot of good things."

"I don't know if we're to that point yet to reach a goal. I think we have to take one game at a time. We know what the standings are... we know the situations. I don't want to look down the road. I want to get one at a time."

"I'm happy with the way we're playing. If we continue to play the way we're playing now and sometimes better, we'll be fine. This team we played tonight is a very good ballclub, obviously."

"He's always capable of having a good game. I felt he had maybe three or four times where he really posted up and scored baskets."

"I don't mind seeing him, just with another jersey on."

"He's just a heckuva ballplayer. I think [Lawson] is the guy who makes them go. He runs their show. He's the glue and I like the way he plays the game."

"He had a tough ballgame. It happens. He came back in later on and did what we asked him to do... unfortunately he couldn't get off early."
