"We're a little more experienced, and I think it shows."

"I think they both had a good day. Russell had to run and play baseball, but for what he did in the spring he's done a good job. I think he worked on some of the things we talked about."

"Obviously for Michael it's been a great opportunity. He got in a lot of situations today, even though you try to simulate in practice it's not like being in a game situation with the clock running."

"Competition is always healthy. We try to create competition at every position."

"The only guys that own jerseys here, their names are on the stadium up there."

"Look at Jarvis, obviously a lot more confident."

"There's a couple of guys not healthy, and our injured reserve guys need to get back if we're going to be a good football team."

"[Mario] Carter, we thought all along that he was an excellent prospect... certainly with he and George Bryan, we get Kushner back and healthy. If Kushner's ready to go you've got to feel good about the tight ends going into the fall."

"We've got to do some things up front with the offensive line."

"The toughest part is getting the offensive line to where it needs to be."

"How about this crowd today? This is spectacular. This field is going to be filled with people and what about a great turnout for Kay Yow. They are still counting money... it just speaks to the Wolfpack nation."
