Class of 2010 Wolfpack Commitments

(Pool M) Altanta Celtics: PG Ryan Harrow

DUKE Wilson #2 -- Friday 9:30 P.M.
Atlanta Celtics vs.Baltimore Stars

NCSU Reynolds #1 -- Saturday 12:15 P.M.
Mid State Magic vs. Atlanta Celtics

UNC Practice Facility -- Saturday 3:30 P.M.
Atlanta Celtics vs. Memphis Stallions

Pack Pride Extra: The Pack's lone commitment in the 2010 class, expect fans to come out and watch Harrow this weekend. He only has one game in Raleigh, as the Celtics face the Mid State Magic. With fellow four-star prospects Trae Golden and Jordan McRae on the team, the Celtics are expected to contend for the 17-under title.

They are heavy favorites to advance out of pool play, and a potential first round playoff matchup against DC Assault, which features Duke commits Tyler Thornton and Josh Hairston, could be a dandy.

Star Power: 4-star prospect; No. 10 PG, No. 50 overall

Best Pool Matchup: Baltimore Stars - Annually one of the top teams on the circuit, the Stars lack big names but you can expect them to have a roster full of hard-nosed players who bring a lot of intensity. Expect their guards to really mix it up.

Class of 2010 Wolfpack Targets

(Pool H) Carolina Cobras: F C.J. Leslie

UNC Dean Dome #3 -- Friday 8:00 P.M.
Jackson MBA Hoops vs. Carolina Cobras

UNC Dean Dome #2 -- Saturday 11:00 A.M.
Carolina Cobras vs. Team Detroit

Carboro High School-- Saturday 3:30 P.M.
Carolina Cobras, NC vs. Mike Miller M33M

Pack Pride Extra: Things have been quiet with Leslie since he decommitted to NC State, but the Wolfpack is still in the mix.

He'll be playing this weekend with the Cobras, suiting up alongside Tashawn Mabry. I'm sure Pack fans aren't happy that Leslie will not play any pool play games in Raleigh, as all three are going to be held in Chapel Hill.

Star Power: 5-star prospect; No. 4 PF, No. 14 overall

Best Pool Matchup: MBA Hoops - Big-time matchup as MBA Hoops features Demarco Cox and 2011 studs LaQuinton Ross and Rodney Hood.

(Pool C) Richmond Squires: G/F Mychal Parker

NCSU Dail Center -- Friday 8:00 P.M.
Richmond Squires vs. Carolina Raptors

Hillside High School -- Saturday 11:00 A.M.
Richmond Squires vs. Team Truth

UNC Dean Dome #1 -- Saturday 6:00 P.M.
Richmond Squires vs. Grassroots Canada

Pack Pride Extra: With offers from most of the ACC, Parker is tracking as a big-time high-major recruit.

It sounds like Maryland and Miami might hold an early advantage, but Parker isn't tipping his hand. NC State is in the mix, mainly due to verbal Ryan Harrow who is good friends with Parker.

The next step for the Wolfpack is getting the talented wing on campus for a visit. Star Power: 4-star prospect; No. 5 SF, No. 32 overall

Best Pool Matchup: Grassroots Canada - The Canadian-based team is one of the favorites, as they feature Texas verbal Tristan Thompson, arguably the top talent in the 2010 class, and stud point guard Cory Joseph among others.

(Pool L) Carolina Flight: SF Reco McCarter

DUKE Card Gym-- Friday 6:30 P.M.
Carolina Flight vs. Houston Select

UNC Practice -- Saturday 11:00 A.M.
Carolina Flight vs. Jacksonville Lee Bulls

UNC Dean Dome #2 -- Saturday 6:00 P.M.
Carolina Flight vs. New York Panthers

Pack Pride Extra: McCarter claimed an offer from NC State during the season but since then his recruitment has slowed down and the Wolfpack has added some players.

It will be interesting to see him in action this weekend with the Flight, as he had been playing with the NC Gaters.

Star Power: 3-star prospect

Best Pool Matchup: Jacksonville Lee Bulls - Center Patric Young has already verbaled to Florida and Marquette commit Aaron Bowen provides scoring punch from the wing for the Bulls.

(Pool H) Carolina Cobras: F Tashawn Mabry

UNC Dean Dome #3 -- Friday 8:00 P.M.
Jackson MBA vs. Carolina Cobras

UNC Dean Dome #2 -- Saturday 11:00 A.M.
Carolina Cobras vs. Team Detroit

Carboro High School-- Saturday 3:30 P.M.
Carolina Cobras vs. Mike Miller M33M

Pack Pride Extra: Like with McCarter, it's unknown just how hard NC State is pursuing Mabry at this point.

Reportedly he is still listing the Wolfpack, but we're trying to confirm if he has a commitable offer on the table.

Star Power: 3-star prospect

Best Pool Matchup: MBA Hoops - Big-time matchup as MBA Hoops features Demarco Cox and 2011 studs LaQuinton Ross and Rodney Hood.

(Pool H) MBA Hoops: F/C Demarco Cox

UNC Dean Dome #3 -- Friday 8:00 P.M.
Jackson MBA vs. Carolina Cobras

DUKE Wilson #1 -- Saturday 11:00 A.M.
Jackson MBA vs. Mike Miller M33M

DUKE Cameron -- Saturday 6:30 P.M.
Jackson MBA vs. Team Detroit

Pack Pride Extra: Checking in at 6-foot-8 and 290 pounds, Cox is a load in the paint (a darn good football prospect too).

He claims an offer from NC State, who is also pursuing teammates LaQuinton Ross and Rodney Hood from the 2011 class.

Star Power: 3-star prospect; No. 12 C

Best Pool Matchup: Carolina Cobras - Standout forwards C.J. Leslie and Tashawn Mabry will test MBA Hoops up front. This one will be a battle on Friday night.

(Pool G) Petersburg Elite: C Davante Gardner

NCSU Reynolds #1 -- Friday 9:30 P.M.
Petersburg Elite vs. Worldwide Renegades

DUKE Wilson #2 -- Saturday 12:15 P.M.
Petersburg Elite vs.Los Angeles Rage

UNC Dean Dome #1 -- Saturday 6:00 P.M.
Petersburg Elite vs. Team Florida

Pack Pride Extra: Big fella listed State at the Southern Slam Fest so we'll catch up with his this weekend.

Impressed Dave Telep with his play in Charlottesville. "We've liked him both days," wrote Telep. "He's in the neighborhood of 300 pounds. Our rule is if you're that big, know how to use your body and he's quite sure what to do. Against Carolina Flight he hung 21 points and fought the entire time.

"He's got good hands and is quick to his scoring move. Think Dexter Pittman in terms of overall size and what could happen if his conditioning improves."

Star Power: Not Rated

Best Pool Matchup: Team Florida - Center Anthony Lee and wing Okaro White are legit high-major prospects for Team Florida.

(Pool G) Nike Team Florida: C Anthony Lee

UNC Dean Dome #2 -- Friday 6:30 P.M.
Team Florida vs. Los Angeles Rage

Ravenscroft High School -- Saturday 11:00 A.M.
Team Florida vs. Worldwide Renegades

UNC Dean Dome #1 -- Saturday 6:00 P.M.
Petersburg Elite vs. Team Florida

Pack Pride Extra: Upside is the word on Lee, who made a name for himself at the 2009 Boo Williams Invitational.

He's long, athletic, and has the potential to be an impact shotblocker and rebounder on the next level.

He's listing NC State, but it is unclear just how hard the Wolfpack is pursuing him.

Star Power: 3-star prospect; No. 22 C

Best Pool Matchup: Petersburg Elite - Justin Coleman and Davante Gardner turned heads at the Southern Slam Fest.

Class of 2011 Wolfpack Targets

(Pool H) MBA Hoops: F LaQuinton Ross

UNC Dean Dome #3 -- Friday 8:00 P.M.
Jackson MBA vs. Carolina Cobras

DUKE Wilson #1 -- Saturday 11:00 A.M.
Jackson MBA vs. Mike Miller M33M

DUKE Cameron -- Saturday 6:30 P.M.
Jackson MBA vs. Team Detroit

Pack Pride Extra: One of the elite players in his class, Ross has all the tools you look for in a wing.

He's not played much this spring as he's battled a nagging ankle injury, but he's expected to return to action this weekend.

Ross is claiming an offer from NC State.

Star Power: 5-star prospect; No. 2 SF

Best Pool Matchup: Carolina Cobras - Standout forwards C.J. Leslie and Tashawn Mabry will test MBA Hoops up front. This one will be a battle on Friday night.

(Pool H) MBA Hoops: Rodney Hood

UNC Dean Dome #3 -- Friday 8:00 P.M.
Jackson MBA vs. Carolina Cobras

DUKE Wilson #1 -- Saturday 11:00 A.M.
Jackson MBA vs. Mike Miller M33M

DUKE Cameron -- Saturday 6:30 P.M.
Jackson MBA vs. Team Detroit

Pack Pride Extra: When it comes to college prospects, MBA Hoops has a slew of them and Hood is as good as any of them.

He's a versatile prospect who brings a lot to the table. NC State has been recruiting him for over a year now and have reportedly offered a scholarship.

Star Power: 4-star prospect

Best Pool Matchup: Carolina Cobras - Standout forwards C.J. Leslie and Tashawn Mabry will test MBA Hoops up front. This one will be a battle on Friday night.

16-UNDER (Pool C) DC Assault: PG Quinn Cook

Hillside High School -- Friday 9:30 P.M.
DC Assault vs. Rising Stars

Ravenscroft -- Saturday 9:45 A.M.
DC Assault vs. Long Island Lightning

DUKE Cameron -- Saturday 2:45 P.M.
DC Assault vs. Boo Williams

Pack Pride Extra: Hailing from legendary DeMatha Catholic, Cook is the next in a long line of point guards to play at the school (Pack head coach Sidney Lowe was one of them).

Crafty and creative, Cook is a true point guard who loves to get his teammates involved.

He appears to be really interested in the triangle schools and NC State is in the mix early as Lowe and assistant Pete Strickland are DeMatha alums.

Star Power: 3-star prospect

Best Pool Matchup: Boo Williams - It might be just a 16-under game but expect this one to be a dogfight. Boo Williams is arguably the top AAU program in the country.

(Pool D) NC Gaters Blue: Jacob Lawson

UNC Dome #1 -- Friday 6:30 P.M.
So. Cal All-Stars vs. NC Gaters Blue

UNC Dean Dome #2 -- Saturday 12:15 P.M.
NC Gaters Blue vs. DC Assault

Orange High School -- Saturday 4:45 P.M.
NC Gaters Blue vs. Dallas Seawolves

Pack Pride Extra: Physical and explosive, Lawson is one of the top athletes in the state, regardless of class.

He's tracking as a high-major prospect and is receiving plenty of interest, including from NC State.

Star Power: 3-star prospect

Best Pool Matchup: Nashville Celtics - Another strong team, the Celtics performed well at Real Deal at the Hill.

16-UNDER (Pool H) Indiana Elite One: C Marshall Plumlee

UNC Practice -- Friday 9:30 P.M.
Indiana Elite One vs. Nashville Celtics

DUKE Cameron -- Saturday 9:45 A.M.
Indiana Elite vs. Team Kobe

UNC Dean Dome #2 -- Saturday 2:15 P.M.
Indiana Elite One vs. Team United

Pack Pride Extra: Yes there is another Plumlee and this one already holds a Wolfpack offer. Brother of Miles and Mason, who will be manning the frontcourt for Duke this fall, some think Marshall might end up the best.

He's all potential now, but he plays extremely hard, mixes it up on both ends, and is a legit high-major prospect.

Star Power: 4-star prospect; No. 5 PF

Best Pool Matchup: Nashville Celtics - Another strong team, the Celtics performed well at Real Deal at the Hill.

16-UNDER (Pool D) Carolina Flight: C John Cannon

Ravenscroft -- Friday 8:00 P.M.
Carolina Flight vs. Dallas Heroes

UNC Dean Dome #2 -- Saturday 9:45 A.M.
Carolina Flight vs. Richmond Squires

NCSU Reynolds #2 -- Saturday 2:15 P.M.
Carolina Flight vs. Team Philly

Pack Pride Extra: High-majors are keeping a close eye on Cannon, who turned some heads at the 2009 Carolina Challenge.

A lot like Plumlee, Cannon likes to mix it up and competes. Still growing into his body, he has some upside.

NC State assistant Monte Towe is recruiting Cannon for the Wolfpack.

Star Power: 2-star prospect

Best Pool Matchup: Team Philly - Any time you play a team from Philly they are going to give you everything they've got. Expect this one to be a tough, tough battle.

(Pool J) Team United: F Bernard Sullivan

DUKE Wilson #1 -- Friday 8:00 P.M.
Team United vs. Net Gain Sports

DUKE Cameron -- Saturday 11:00 A.M.
Team United vs. New Jersey Roadrunners

NCSU Reynolds #2 -- Saturday 6:00 P.M.
Team United vs. Playground Warriors

Pack Pride Extra: Sullivan has been on the radar for a while now, as he entered high school as one of the top in-state prospects in his class.

He's battled some injuries but appears to be back on track after a solid showing at the Carolina Challenge.

NC State assistant Larry Harris is evaluating Sullivan for the Wolfpack.

Star Power: 3-star prospect

Best Pool Matchup: NJ Roadrunners - The Roadrunners are led by stud point guard Kyrie Irving. However, Team United has a solid point guard as well in FSU pledge Ian Miller.

(Pool A) CP3 All-Stars: G/F Dezmine Wells

UNC Dean Dome #1 -- Friday 8:00 P.M.
CP3 All-Stars vs. Colorado Chaos

NCSU Reynolds #1 -- Saturday 11:00 A.M.
CP3 All-Stars vs. Illinois Wolves

UNC Dean Dome #3 -- Saturday 3:30 P.M.
CP3 All-Stars vs. Team Philly

Pack Pride Extra: Checking in at 6-foot-4 and 205 pounds, Wells is a big-time athlete versatile enough to play three positions on the floor. He mainly played small forward for Word of God but feels he'll be a guard on the college level.

Wells is spending some time at point guard this spring with his AAU team, CP3 All-Stars. He also showcased his ability to create for others at the 2009 Carolina Challenge.

Star Power: 2-star prospect

Best Pool Matchup: Team Philly - Team Philly is led by Wake verbal Tony Chenault, a top 100 point guard who sets the tone for his team on both ends of the floor.
