Coach Diaz in Da House!

Coaches are making the rounds to visit the top prospects on their recruiting board. Coach Manny Diaz stopped in on Xavier Adibi last night to make an in-home. TSW talked to Adibi shortly thereafter.

Xavier Adibi (Ht: 6-3 Wt: 215 40: 4.48 LB) has narrowed his list down to four schools, and he is in the middle of taking his visits. "I've already been to Maryland. I am going to Tennessee this weekend and to Virginia Tech on the 24th, then to NC State on the 31st."

We asked Xavier about his first visit to Maryland. "It was my first trip and it went fine. I had a nice time."

There has been some speculation that Virginia Tech may lead for Adibi because of his brother Nathaniel plays DE for the Hokies. This is not true according to the stand-out linebacker. "Him playing at Tech has no influence on where I decide to play."

We also learned during our conversation that Xavier had a visitor last night. "Coach Diaz from NC State was here a few minutes ago. NC State is a pretty good school. They are a program on the rise. He told me about some of the recruits they have already. We talked about Chuck Amato and how he treats his players and how they are a family. Coach told me that the name "Wolfpack" suits their team real good."

With only one visit down and three to go, Xavier did not want to name a leader. He is keeping his options open.
