Locker Room Report: Wolfpack Players

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Several NC State players met with the media following the Wolfpack's 65-7 win over Murray State.

Russell Wilson

"We just worked a little bit harder and got a little bit better."

"It definitely felt more in sync. I've got to credit the offensive line. They did a great job tonight. The running backs did a great job as well. The receivers and tight ends caught the ball."

"We're not satisfied. We're never satisfied with that."

"We've just got to get better each and every week."

"They are all playmakers. They catch the ball well."

Toney Baker

"It was huge for our offense to get some momentum going."

"I feel like we did our job. We executed the little things."

"It was exciting. I was trying to celebrate with my line and my teammates."

LeRoy Burgess

"We wanted to get the ball into Russell's hands."

"We wanted to come out and set the tone early. Cause turnovers... win the turnover margin and win games."

"That's got to be your mentality."

"We were a little mad, but the ultimate goal is to get the win."

James Washington

"I feel that I came out, caught a couple of balls from Russell, and was able to get the hard yards on the goalline."

"I was just happy with the short catch."

"I was trying to hold back all of the emotions. I've been working real hard since January."

Willie Young

"It was a group effort. We just came out and executed."

"Regardless of who we're playing... Murray State put up 66 points I think last week. They know how the score. But you have a defense that's playing on the same page for four quarters."

"That's the way a defense wants to be... all 11 guys executing their job. As long as you have everyone where they should be, an offense should never score."

"As a captain, I made it tough for the defense because that's what I can focus on."
