  • Ben Drayton III (St. Marys, Ga.) has led Georgia Southern in scoring three straight games, the first time any Eagle has topped the scoring list in three straight games since Louis Graham strung together 12 straight games through the 2007-08 season. • Coach Young is looking for his team to play more consistent heading into conference play.

"Our challenge is to be consistent," said Young. "This stretch of games in front of us begins with our first game after finals - facing a team of high caliber like N.C. State from the best basketball conference in the country, the ACC. This game provides us with another opportunity to develop the best game plan for our team -- both immediately and over the long run. These games prepare our team to face top competition and we will reap the benefits of these experiences."
