2010 NC State signee Ryan Harrow scored a season-low 29 points to lead Walton High School over Charlotte Olympic High School in Walton's second game in the Prep All Stars Classic in Fort Mill, SC. The Raiders picked up their second victory in the challenge and remained undefeated on the season. Harrow pulled down six rebounds and also dished out eight assists.
"We didn't play the best that we can play," Harrow said following Tuesday night's game. "But we came out with the win and buckled down on defense at the end."
Harrow also said he is disappointed that Walton is not in the tournament portion of the bracket and will only play three games against three different teams.
"Even though we're in the challenge we're still playing pretty good competition and given the fact that we're still winning and have an undefeated season it shows that we're working hard and we're out to prove that we're one of the best teams," he said.
Word of God Falls to Centennial Despite Leslie's Strong Second Half
In the nightcap of day two action, Word of God took on Centennial High School from Atlanta to determine the second team in the finals Wednesday night. The Holy Rams fell behind early and struggled throughout most of the night, falling 67-61. Word of God did make it interesting with a late run but could not quite rein the Knights in.
2010 target C.J. Leslie scored 19 for Word of God and played well in the second half when Word of God made its run. Despite the run, a 9-of-30 performance from the free throw line doomed the Holy Rams throughout the night.
