GSK Invitional Loaded With Pack Signees, Commitments, Prospects
For Wolfpack fans, and a lot of college basketball fans, the place to be this week is Raleigh (NC) Broughton's Holliday Gym as the 38th annual GSK Holiday Invitational is absolutely loaded.

One of the event's headliners is NC State signee Ryan Harrow. A 6-foot point guard out of Walton High School, Harrow has been stellar, as he is averaging 35 points per game in leading the Raiders to an 8-0 start.

Ryan Harrow

The team, which also features potential Division-I recruits Kamren Belin, G'Mitri Rice, and Braylen Williams, won the challenge division of the 2009 Prep All-Stars Holiday Classic last Wednesday and return to the Carolinas just days later for the GSK.

At the Prep All-Stars Holiday Classic Harrow averaged 30 points in the three games to capture tournament Most Outstanding Player honors.

Walton's first game is scheduled for 12:40 pm today against Raleigh (NC) Millbrook High School. Harrow is considered the most heralded signee in the Pack's 2010 class. A legitimate Top 25 prospect, Harrow is ranked the No. 8 point guard and the No. 25 player overall by Scout.com in the 2010 class.

Wolfpack 2010 commitment Luke Cothron is also playing in this year's GSK Invitational as Red Springs (NC) Flora MacDonald plays at 2:20 today against West Charlotte. The 6-foot-8 combo forward committed to NC State prior to the fall signing period but elected to not sign his letter of intent. He's currently considered a soft verbal to the Wolfpack, but is hearing from programs such as Tennessee and Alabama among others.

C.J. Leslie

A couple of potential targets are also playing in the event, including former commitment C.J. Leslie. A dynamic combo forward, Leslie and Word of God have already won one game in the tournament as they defeated Southern Wayne 72-50 Saturday night. Leslie totaled 11 points and 12 rebounds in the wing. He is currently rated a five-star prospect in the 2010 class.

Durham (NC) Riverside features T.J. Warren, a 2012 prospect who is receiving heavy interest from NC State, is also playing in the event. Warren's father, Tony, played basketball at NC State and the younger Warren is considered one of the top 2012 prospects in the state. Riverside plays today at 4:00 pm against Rice High School.

The event will be held at Raleigh (NC) Broughton High School's historic Holliday Gymnasium. Games began December 26th and will conclude with the finals on December 30th. No games were played on Sunday, December 27th, and the event features two 8-team boys tournaments and a 4-team girls tournament.

Harrow and Walton are in the Shavlik Randolph Foundation Invitational which also includes Kinston (Reggie Bullock), Rice (Shane Southwell, Scott Arias), Riverside (T.J. Warren), and Enloe (Melvin Tabb).

The Summit Hospitality Group Invitational might be even stronger, as it features Word of God (C.J. Leslie, Bishop Daniels, Dezmine Wells), West Charlotte (J.T. Terrell), United Faith (Ian Miller, Peter Jurkin), Flora MacDonald (Luke Cothron), Forsyth Country Day (Tyler Lewis), and Greenfield School (Brian Richardson).
