The Associated Press named the 6'3 ½, 218 pound gunslinger a first-team member of the All-Group AAA football team in the state. Bujakowski was also First-Team All-Metro, First-Team All-Region, and First-Team All-District.
College coaches are also picking up on the Hopewell High School star. Virginia, Maryland, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, North Carolina State, and North Carolina are some of the schools hot on his trail, Bujakowski notes.
Does Bujakowski have a favorite early on in his recruitment?
"Florida State has always been my favorite but I haven't really heard from them," Bujakowski noted. "My older cousins and I have been Florida State fans since we were little kids." After the Seminoles, Bujakowski says that he is wide open.
"Really, I'm interested in any school that is interested in me. Any school that recruits me I'll be interested in checking out."
What is Bujakowski doing to improve his stock with prospective schools?
"I'm definitely working to improve my foot speed," Bujakowski said. "I feel I've got the God-given size to be successful and I throw pretty well. I'm a pure passer but am working to get better with my feet, overall."
And, if the Hopewell star who benches 250 and squats 385 can improve his footwork, watch out. This kid could end up one as one of the best class of 2004 quarterbacks on the Atlantic seaboard.
